This online qualification provides you with the knowledge to recognise potential early signs of poor mental health, to learn about certain mental health conditions, give you the skills to start a conversation and if necessary, signpost the person towards professional help.
Total time: 3-hours guided learning and a minimum of 6-hours self-study over a 3-week period.
A full day on-site classroom version of the course is available.
This online qualification covers the same content as the Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health, but it also expands on the effects of drugs and alcohol, incorporates the First Aid for Mental Health Action Plan, and outlines how to support a positive mental health culture in the workplace.
Total time: 6-hours guided learning and a minimum of 9-hours self-study over a 6-week period.
A two day on-site classroom version of the course is available.
This online qualification covers the content of the Award in Awareness of First Aid for Mental Health and the Award in First Aid for Mental Health, as well as a broader spectrum of mental health conditions and behaviours and the support and assistance provided by healthcare professionals.
