Who is MHScot Workplace Wellbeing CIC?

We are Scotland’s first social enterprise focusing on stress prevention and early mental health intervention in the workplace.

We started in 2014 and now have a small team working with organisations across the UK and beyond.

What we do

We support organisations to develop and embed a more caring and compassionate workplace culture, and we equip employees with the skills and knowledge they need to support mental health and wellbeing at work through education, training, and awareness courses.

Why we do it

MHScot believes that early intervention and support can have a significant impact on a person’s overall well-being and ability to recover and remain well. Our training equips people with the knowledge and skills to provide appropriate information and support to others while also improving their own ability to deal with the challenges of the modern workplace and beyond.

Great organisations invest in people and workplace wellbeing, and for every £1 spent by employers on mental health interventions they get £5 back in reduced absence, presenteeism and staff turnover. (Deloitte, 2022)

Why choose us?

We are a Social Enterprise (Community Interest Company) that collaborates with ethically conscious businesses that value positive social change. In keeping with this ethos, profits are reinvested in the community through community awareness initiatives and third-sector training.

Our impact

The impact and the difference we make from the work we do is really important in understanding attitude, behaviour change, knowledge and confidence in mental health and wellbeing.
