MHScot delivers expert-led mental health training that focuses on organisational change rather than placing the burden on individuals.
Edinburgh’s workforce spans some of Scotland’s biggest employers, from financial services and a large public sector through to four universities, tourism and a growing tech scene. The pressures vary by industry, but the core question is the same: how do we build workplaces where people get proper support when their mental health is struggling? MHScot helps Edinburgh organisations answer that with accredited training that holds up in real working conditions.
Our Edinburgh training programmes are designed to create meaningful organisational change:
Equip your team with the skills to recognise and respond effectively to mental health challenges in the workplace.
Learn how to create environments where team members feel safe to speak up, take risks, and contribute fully.
Develop strategies to transform workplace structures that impact mental health and wellbeing.
MHScot delivers accredited First Aid for Mental Health training to Edinburgh employers, on-site at your premises or live online via Microsoft Teams. We are a Scottish social enterprise based in Edinburgh, and we award the SCQF Level 5 qualification (RQF Level 2 equivalent) through First Aid Awards (FAA), recognised by employers across all four UK nations.
Whatever the sector, our training gives your team the confidence to recognise when a colleague is struggling, start a supportive conversation, and signal where to turn next. We deliver across Edinburgh and the wider Greater Edinburgh area, on-site or online.

"The training increased my awareness of mental health at work, the signs, the symptoms, and the many causes that sit outside work. I learnt to pause, genuinely ask colleagues how they are, and really listen. Our team now has four mental health first aiders."
