The application of knowledge and skills together with planning next steps are fundamental throughout our courses. We encourage all participants to consider learning in the context of their own role and organisation.
This is linked to implementing a positive and preventative mental health culture in the workplace and seeing this as an investment in individuals and organisation as a whole.
As part of our evaluation, we welcome the opportunity to follow up with organisations, for example 6 months after a course. This provides valuable feedback for MHScot and an indication of change for participants and their organisations.
Our Evaluation is based on a Kirkpatrick Evaluation approach. This includes gathering feedback on learning, changes in behaviour and the benefits for the organisation.
Evaluation questions are shared at the end of a course to help participants plan next steps and start to put their learning into practice.

Short session to review and refresh
We are also happy to facilitate a short session(s) to review progress and refresh key messages, knowledge and skills.
Sessions are online and facilitated via Zoom.
In advance of this session, we welcome the opportunity to update on progress, the current situation, any challenges and your plans going forward. This helps to ensure the context and focus of the session are relevant and reflect what is happening in your organisation.
How long is each session?
Each session lasts for 90 minutes. This includes the opportunity to discuss and review progress, consider any challenges, refresh key messages, knowledge and skills and update next steps.
