Positive psychology is the ‘scientific study of optimal functioning of people and organisations.’ It focuses on aspects of the human condition that lead to psychological wellbeing, fulfilment, and flourishing. Positive psychology has three central concerns: positive experiences, positive individual traits, and positive institutions. In other words, it is a humanistic approach to psychology that goes beyond managing negative emotions and focuses on building positive emotions.
The goal of positive psychology is to improve psychological wellbeing and to increase the prospect of success at work and beyond. In addition to helping us feel good, positive wellbeing translates to other benefits such as enhanced performance, increased self-awareness, improved emotional self-regulation, better and more meaningful relationships with others, to name but a few.
This programme is an excellent way to give your employees a ‘taster’ session of the fundamental principles and practices that enhance wellbeing and performance. It will help promote a learning and development culture that supports a positive and resilient organisational environment for employees to thrive in their roles.
Best of all, as the programme consists of four 60-minute short sessions, they are highly accessible and can become a part of your working day. Topics can be booked one at a time or as a series of up to four sessions.
The sessions are online and facilitated via Zoom. They are available to book on Tuesdays and Thursday, 04:00 – 05:00 PM.
These interactive sessions aim to put selected positive psychology theories into practice and allow participants to consider the context in their organisation and its application in life.

These sessions are suitable for everyone in the workplace.
Each session lasts for 60 minutes and includes an opportunity to reflect on the learning and consider the next steps for your role and organisation. They are available to book on Tuesdays and Thursday, 04:00 – 05:00 PM.
For you and your employees to get the most from these sessions, we recommend group sizes from 15 to a maximum of 20 participants.
We can tailor sessions to suit your requirements. If tailored sessions bring additional development costs, we will discuss them in advance.
