Our Emotional Culture workshops and programme are perfect for organisations that want to create a more human and empathetic workplace and employee culture. Positive emotional culture is linked to better performance, quality and customer service.

Emotional Culture workshops

 

These workshops are like taster sessions for the longer Emotional Culture Programme.

 

Using a deck of cards each, we’ll work together to define how you want your people to feel and not too feel. We’ll use worksheets to explore how you need to act as leaders to help your people experience desired and undesired feeling, and we’ll support you with facilitating conversations and actions to take away.

How long does it take?

 

The workshops run for a total of three hours over two 1.5 hour online, instructor-led sessions.

 

How much does it cost?

Emotional Culture 12-Month Programme

 

The Emotional Culture Programme helps enable human conversations and bottom-up culture change.

 

The emotional culture of an organisation influences employee satisfaction, wellbeing, burnout, teamwork, and even hard measures such as financial performance and absenteeism. But organisations (and leaders) often don’t talk about emotion. Many lack confidence in their ‘soft skills’.

 

The Emotional Culture Programme helps flip that conversation. It’s a toolkit that helps leaders uncover what truly motivates their people, and map desired team culture. As empathy, connections, and trust develop, results go up.

This programme is for teams and leaders.

 

How does the programme work?

 

Month 1: Map our emotional culture

 

Map your Emotional Culture Workshop (2 x 2 hour sessions)

 

  • Workshop 1: How do we want to feel at work to be successful?
  • Workshop 2: How do we not want to feel at work but might from time-to-time?

 

Months 2-6: Monthly check-in and critical focus (90 minute sessions)

 

  • Each month the team focuses on one of team’s top five desired feelings. Ask your team to select the feeling they want to focus on for the upcoming month.
  • As a team, brainstorm personal and team rituals for how to ensure the team experience this desired feeling. Generate as many rituals as possible then choose the top three to five rituals your team will put into practice in the upcoming month.
  • At the next monthly team check-in workshop, as a team, review the rituals the team experimented with during the month. Discuss what worked, what didn’t work and decide what rituals to adopt as a team permanently.
  • Select a new desired feeling from the team’s Top Five Desired Feelings. And repeat the monthly check-in session focusing on brainstorming rituals to embed this desired feeling into how your team work together.

 

Month 7: Re-evaluate & refine our emotional culture

 

Map your Emotional Culture Workshop (2 x 2 hour sessions)

 

  • After six months, work with the team to re-evaluate and refine the team’s emotional culture. The team may (or may not) have shifted, based on the work you’ve completed together over the past six months.
  • Complete the same two workshops as month 1 above.
  • Begin this month’s workshop with a team review of the past six months.
  • Explore how people felt overall in past six months and measure how much they experience the team’s desired and undesired feelings.

 

Months 8-12: Monthly check-in and critical focus (90 minute sessions)

 

Repeat the same steps as Months 2-6 above.

 

How much does it cost?

 

The average price per group of the programme is £3,000 + VAT (£375+VAT per person*) for 12 sessions over 12 months, for a maximum of *8 people. Please contact us to get a quote for your organisation based upon your needs.
